Did you know that Mohenjo-Daro was the first civilization to have developed a complex sewer system and that gives us a basis for our sewer system today. Mohenjo-Daro is a civilization that came to be around 2,600 B.C.E. Around 2,000-1,700 B.C.E., Mohenjo-Daro was at its peak and was developing faster than any other civilization at the time. Mohenjo-Daro is located in Asia, specifically in Pakistan. However, the Indus River Valley civilization extends all the way to India. Mohenjo-Daro had many inventions and advancements. They also had a complex sewer system and they planned out everything they built. They also built a Great Bath, which took a lot of effort to build it and used it for religious practice. They also had a mysterious downfall. Mohenjo-Daro is important to us today because, without them, we would not be as advanced as we are right now.
